AFFCO is one of New Zealand’s leading manufacturers of premium beef and lamb products. We currently have an opportunity for a motivated individual to join our night shift cleaning team based at our Manawatu plant in Fielding near Palmerston North.
Reporting to the Nightshift Cleaning Supervisor, this role is focused on the pre-operation and post-operation cleaning processes throughout the site to ensure compliance and all necessary standards are maintained. A Green Team Night Cleaner is expected to handle various chemical’s (with the supplied appropriate PPE and training) and clean anywhere on site.
Key requirements include:
- Being a friendly, approachable team-player
- A good work ethic and a can-do attitude
- A proven track record of being reliable and punctual
- Demonstrating excellent time management
- Ability to follow instructions and work unsupervised
The Green Team Night Cleaners work 20 to 30 hours per week and must be available Monday through Friday and some Saturday's as required. Applicants must have the ability to work these required hours.
Commercial cleaning experience is advantageous; alternatively, experience in a manufacturing-type environment would also be considered.
Applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand.
